He applies a multidisciplinary approach to solve problems for the non-profit, public, and private sectors and has worked extensively in asset-based economic development, energy systems analyses, and geographic information systems. Joey currently serves as Associate Director of Swaniti Global, a civil society organization working at the nexus of climate and economic development around the world. Prior to joining Swaniti, Mr. James served as a managing partner of Downstream Strategies, a management consulting firm that focuses on environmental and economic development issues.
